Introduction

Hello! Welcome to Turmail, the Land of Flourishment! Turmail is an island in the middle of the Melago Sea.

In Turmail the inhabitants are called Kinate. Kinate are fairly short, white skinned, dark haired creatures. Most are very friendly and are cheerful all the time.

Newborn Kina [ baby Kinate ] are taken to a very large stable, called the Birth Stable, with their parents. The Kina is set on the ground. In the stable many species of Anilu flourish.

Anilu are small animals and have many kinds of behaviour. Most are very loyal and hate being alone. Wild Anilu live in forests and mountains, but all Anilu owned by Kinate are very tame. Anilu are chosen at birth and live with the Kinate until the Kinate passes on. The pre-owned Anilu will then reside in the Birth Stable until they are either chosen for a new Kina, or die.

In the stable, Anilu will come up to the Kina. If the Anilu particularly likes this Kina, they will sit next to it. Oftentimes the Anilu who chooses the Kina is the one who feels the most like them. For example, an excited Shiserza will usually pick a Kina who will be very active in the future. If no Anilu have taken a liking to the Kina, the Kina is thrown away - in other words, thrown into the Jadabey Forest, likely never to return and even more likely to be eaten.

Over 200 Kinate live in little Cenian Valley. Cenian Valley is a perfect haven for peasant Kinate and their Anilu. It is peaceful and quiet, and not many wild Anilu come near it. The soil is perfect to farming [ and Kinate are amazing at anything with nature ] .
